A Local Tasting Event Hosted by the OFS Friends Board, Benefiting Operation Backpack.
The Friends Board raised more than $50,000, a new record, in support of Operation Backpack. The signature event, Party for Packs, held June 8, 2023, was a highlight with generous samples of delicious food and cocktails donated by local vendors. Donations were raised through local business sponsorships, ticket sales, Golden Ticket Raffles with weekend getaways to local vacation spots and ten raffle packages. Friends Board member, Alex Rich, was the emcee and a local DJ provided music at this popular event.
