Ellen has 25 years of fundraising and leadership experience. Her responsibilities include overseeing and directing all of the agency’s fundraising efforts including annual, major and planned giving programs. She handles all strategic communication with current and prospective donors, as well as manages individual and corporate gifts.

Prior to joining Operation Food Search, Ellen held leadership positions in development and communications, including Unleashing Potential, Edgewood Children’s Center, Family Forward and Washington University in St. Louis.

Ellen earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Spanish and a Master of Arts in Geography, all from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  Ellen is also a 2015-2016 graduate of the Leadership St. Louis program through Focus St. Louis.

She lives in the Southampton neighborhood of St. Louis City with her husband and two daughters. In her free time, she likes to read, garden, see movies, take walks around the neighborhood and spend time with family and friends.
